In 2008, I studied the interdependences between shapes, forms and feelings. I wondered, how far I would be able to take this. So I began painting 'states of minds' or 'sentiments'. After working intuitively at first, I later incorporated research findings from the areas of cultural and social studies - cultural influences on color symbolism - and neurobiology - how do we see and feel.
